Youoy
Youoy is a multifunctional tile designed for floors and walls. The tile is made of stone plastic composite in five layers, produced with high temperature and high pressure, without formaldehyde, heavy metals or phthalates. The surface pattern is based on splash-ink landscape painting, and combines gray wood grain with modern geometric shapes. Semicircles stand for the sun and the moon, while triangles stand for mountains. A mortise and tenon lock joins the tiles for quick and stable installation. The tile suits high-humidity spaces.
Youoy Floor Tile by Yi Zhang was recognized as an innovative example of industrial design by the A' Design Awards. Youoy Floor Tile earned the Iron A' Design Award in Building Materials and Construction Components Design in 2023. The A' Building Materials and Construction Components Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design award which recognizes superior design of bricks, beams, windows, doors, insulation materials, roofing materials, plumbing fixtures, electrical components and more.
